Thanks for taking the time to read about the 2 night concerts/shows & 40th Birthday party including GAMES, PRIZES & FUN FOR EVERYONE, that we are promoting on June 21st & June 22nd 2013 & the reasons why we felt the need to ask for help, even though neither of us like asking for help.

We are both very passionate about music & getting more & more people to come see great bands, have fun & enjoy it with their friends, friends to be and/or just other people also loving it.

 

Allie has been entertaining people by promoting concerts, shows, festivals & bands since 1990. She wanted to have a huge band, Slapshot, who has never played in Atlanta before, who she had been bugging for years to come play here to not only play on her 40th Birthday but to turn it into a big party including games, prizes & lots of fun for everyone. Slapshot's other band who have also never played here & most people thought they'd never get to see them either are playing the Preparty on the 21st.

Allie suffers from a number of health conditions including some very serious & scary ones including Lupus, Fibrocystic Breast Disease & Hypothyroidism. She also suffers a lot from Fibromyalgia & other issues. She suffers every day with a myriad of symptoms including a lot of pain & exhaustion. She is a fighter & is always trying to stay positive. She is constantly working extremely hard on not only promoting, which often costs money out of pocket, but she started her own business, an online store, when she was forced to quit her job many years ago, as she was too sick to work a traditional job. She has worked very hard to build the store to be able to support herself, which the health conditions expenses make very difficult. This is her store, please  check it out and/or share it. It has been an extremely stressful struggle trying to earn enough to support herself when a huge portion of the money earned has to go towards Dr copays, prescriptions, scans & other tests, bills for things the insurance wouldn't cover, as well as huge copays & bills for occasional hospital visits. Lately, her health took a turn for the worse & she has been having to spend an insane amount of money in a short period of time to go from Specialist to Specialist & go for different tests & be put on even more prescriptions, plus has even more coming up. It's been very hard to cover all of those bills let alone anything else & it's definitely not from a lack of trying.

Jeremy joined forces with Allie last year to help turn her business into something bigger & better & really wonderful. Jeremy also has several health problems & was sent home on Hospice Care "to die" around 2 years ago, from Liver Failure. There's no need to say that he is also a fighter, as he truly proved that by not only surviving, but by turning his life around & also, like Allie, has the drive & passion to do something great with his life, even though he also has too many health problems & symptoms to have a traditional job.

We as a team have been working very hard on top of working on the store, to make this weekend a REALLY fun & memorable weekend FOR EVERYONE. All of these extra medical expenses on top of everything else has made life incredibly stressful & difficult. We see people using sites like this all of the time to raise money to help cover their production costs & as much as we didn't want to do the same, under the circumstances, we feel the need to do the same.

 

To fund our project, we are trying to raise $5000  (BUT ANYTHING WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL & APPRECIATED & WE WILL WORK FOR IT BY OFFERING PERKS, SOME PERKS INCLUDE PROMOTING FOR YOU!) to help cover roundtrip plane tickets from Boston, band guarantees, venue rental & related fees, advertising, hospitality including food & drinks, games, prizes, door entry supplies, other related costs, fees & rentals.

Anything would be wonderful, helpful & more appreciated than we can put into words. We always try & help people whenever we can & sometimes even when we can't, we will continue to do so whether you can help or not & we really appreciate you taking the time to read this.
